I don’t like people. No, I don’t. People as a collective are horrible. Persons as individuals, there is hope for them. With individuals, humanity is not lost. People have a tendency to not be able to think for themselves and act with empathy. There is this thing called ‘group think’ where critical thinking is a dirty word and a lost art. We’ve all become afraid to challenge popular opinion and show we can think for ourselves. Let’s not talk about the fact that empathy has seem to gone underground. Poor empaths, I know your burden.
Any who, I don’t like crowds but I love a set of individuals. Uniqueness and different points of view are appreciated, even when we may not agree. I hope to create a safe place of expression where our readers can be free to laugh along, agree, and or disagree. Our goal is to learn from each other and maybe even be entertained.
Sometimes it’s uncomfortable communicating when you’re socially awkward but we are not alone.
